The series, without a doubt, has a cast never seen before: James Badge Dale, Jon Seda, Joseph Mazzello, Ashton Holmes, Jacob Pitts and Rami Malek, playing the characters: Robert Leckie, John Basilone, Eugene Sledge, PFC Sidney Phillips, PFC Bill ‘Hoosier’ Smith and PFC Merriell ‘Snafu’ Shelton (respectively).

This last season was undoubtedly quite controversial and let to many conversations on social networks such as Reddit or Facebook. As its acceptance has been accentuated thanks to that reason, the next season will address those topics.
