Unfortunately the team is matched up against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama. After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.

The series has a cast never seen before: Ayumu Murase, Kaito Ishikawa, Daisuke Namikawa, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Koki Uchiyama and Miyu Irino, in the role of our characters: Shouyou Hinata (voice), Tobio Kageyama (voice), Tooru Oikawa (voice), Yuu Nishinoya (voice), Kei Tsukishima (voice) and Koushi Sugawara (voice); respectively.
